Dutch B1 – B2
Dutch B1 – B2
At the B1 level of Dutch, you will develop your ability to communicate with greater autonomy and confidence in everyday, academic, and professional situations. Throughout the course, you will work on listening and reading comprehension of conversations and clear texts on common topics such as work, studies, and daily life, as well as speaking and writing skills to participate in conversations, express opinions, and describe experiences, plans, and goals. In addition, you will strengthen the functional use of verb tenses, sentence structure, expand your vocabulary, and improve your pronunciation.
At the B2 level of Dutch, students develop the ability to communicate fluently and spontaneously in social, academic, and professional contexts. They can understand complex texts and extended conversations, express opinions with clear and detailed arguments, write structured texts (such as reports and formal emails), and actively participate in debates, defending their point of view with precision and coherence. Both levels are developed through a communicative approach oriented toward real-life language use, in line with the descriptors of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
